Whiskeytown NRA Announces Phased Campground Reopenings

A long list of campground reopenings have been announced this week, including more than 1,6000 camping areas in California State Parks. Now, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is joining the party with its announcement of a phased campground reopening plan in the popular Shasta County recreation area.

Oak Bottom Tent and RV Campgrounds will reopen on June 12th with modifications to normal campground operations due to COVID-19 (make your reservation here). As part of their phased plan, they will announce the opening of Brandy Creek RV Campground, Peltier Bridge Primitive Campground and Horse Camp Primitive Campground in the future.
