WATCH: Professional Baseball Players Visit the Point Reyes National Seashore

Players from the Tampa Bay Rays professional baseball team came into the Bay Area for their season opening series against the San Francisco Giants and, with a day off in NorCal, chose to spend their time at Point Reyes National Seashore.

Point Reyes is the premiere destination for marine wildlife viewing in Northern California and is known for its famous Cypress Tree Tunnel and stunning Drake’s Beach.

Rays’ players got a chance to see the beautiful NorCal coast up-close-and-personal and posted their adventures to social media:

On Friday, the Rays started the season beating the Giants 5-2 before losing 6-4 on Sunday. The teams will play on Sunday to finish out the Giants home opening series.

Glad they enjoyed the great outdoors of Northern California!
