Watch a Mountain Biker Go Full Send Down Redding’s Newest Flow Trail ‘The Enticer’

The Redding Trail Alliance has been hard at work creating and providing maintenance on mountain biking trails after the Carr Fire swept through one of California’s most popular biking area in 2018. Now, we’re beginning to see the results of their hard work.

One of the best areas to mountain bike in Northern California are the areas surrounding Whiskeytown National Recreation Area and in the Swasey Recreation Area off Highway 299. Recently, mountain biker Dan Arbuckle posted a video of the “Enticer” trail, which is for high-level riders and features numerous berms, jumps and drops. In the video, you can see him come across some of the guys from the trail alliance, working hard to get it perfect.

It’s been a long road to recovery since the Carr Fire, but the iconic recreational opportunities sitting just west of Redding are finally beginning to return to normal operations. Thanks to everyone for making it possible. Watch the video above to see what it’s like to ride the trail, and for more information on mountain biking near Redding, go here.
