VIDEO: Skier Launches Off Insane Cliff on Donner Summit

Say hello to the craziest stunt you’ve seen in a while.

Skier Mik Gadomski performed a death-defying cliff jump in the powder of Tahoe’s Donner Summit and luckily for us, there was someone there to record the stunt. This video (above) is from March 2010, when the Tahoe region received some of its best snowfall in the past 20 years.

Gadomski used the deep snowpack to perform what looks to be a nearly 50-foot drop, landing safely in the deep powder below. Let’s be honest – it’s nearly impossible to ride out from a drop that big. But kudos to Mik for attempting the dangerous feat.
