Video Shows Firefighters Escaping Extreme Fire Conditions on the Zogg Fire Near Redding

The Zogg Fire exploded west of Redding on Sunday afternoon, growing to 7,000 acres within hours leaving many Shasta County residents worried of another devastating fire event in their community. With the fast-moving nature of the fire, it’s been difficult to decipher important information on the fire, but a video shared to Instagram shows the extreme fire conditions that firefighters are dealing with.

An Instagram account posting wildfire content shared scenes from the front lines of the fire and it showed extreme fire behavior that had firefighters running for their safety. Watch the video:
