This Week Saw the Powder Day of the Year at NorCal Ski Resorts

After 11 feet of snow fell on the Sierra Nevada in just 24 hours, the skies opened up for a beautiful bluebird powder day for skiers and snowboarders on Wednesday. In a typical winter, there are about 5 of these days in a season and they are exactly what ski bums live for.

Anybody who has a passion for the mountains called in sick on Wednesday and enjoyed the powder day of the year at NorCal ski resorts. Let’s see what it looked like:
