This Truck Dangling From a Humboldt Tree is a Mysterious Piece of Art

It’s been said that some people in Humboldt are weird. Heck, it’s the charm of the place. Known for it’s art, charming coastal towns and world-class marijuana, the Lost Coast sits as one of the most unique places in the country. And they certainly have the art to prove it.

Sitting in a remote stretch of forest near the Mattole River is this unique piece of art, which is a real-life blue Ford F-150 dangling from a tree by cables. It’s unknown how the heck it got up there. If you ask a local, they’ll tell you it was aliens.

There are plenty of mysteries surrounding the F-150. First of all, how was it delicately pulled high above the ground, seemingly suspended in air? How was it put in place without any markings or tree damage to indicate the process? And who the heck put it there?
