The World’s Largest Corn Maze is Reopening this Month in Northern California

In Dixon, California sits a 63-acre fall utopia with a pumpkin patch, hay rides and the largest corn maze in the world. It’s previously been recognized as one of the 25 best in the United States and is opening this month for Northern California residents.

Cool Patch Pumpkins made Country Living’s list of the 25 Best Corn Mazes Across America, marking it as one of the premier destinations in NorCal this fall season. Opening to the public on September 23rd for the 2023 season, the popular family fall destination will stay open until Halloween this year.

Sitting on Highway 80 between Davis and Vacaville, Cool Patch Pumpkins was established in 2001 and its corn maze has been certified by Guinness World Records as having the World’s Largest Corn Maze. Every year the patch has a new design and maze to keep people guessing. And every year, people have difficulty finding their way out.

It’s unknown what the design of the corn maze will be this year, but it’s been pretty stunning in the past, including designs dedicated to the Sacramento Kings and first responders. They posted a preview of the design on their Facebook page. What do you think will be this year’s theme?

You can enter the pumpkin patch for jus $1 per person, but navigating through the world’s largest corn maze will cost you $18 (kids under 5 are free). Other activities include hay rides, pedal cars and a corn bath. To learn more about this great fall destination in NorCal, go here.
