The Shasta Bike Challenge Kicks Off with the Spring Spin in Redding’s Caldwell Park

The Shasta Bike Challenge is kicking off Friday, April 19th with the Spring Spin event at Redding’s Caldwell Junior Bike Park. The event, starting at 4 pm, will feature live music, biking booths, food, biking valet and a corn hole tournament. It’s the can’t-miss event of the biking season!

The Shasta Bike Challenge is a collaborative effort of the bicycling community to engage new, old, and current cyclist to ride as much as they can whether it is for transportation or just for fun! Participants can register as an individual or join a team on our tracking platform, Love to Ride. The challenge is free and all level of riders are welcomed!

This year’s 2019 Challenge is from May 1st to 31st. All participants are entered into a free drawing for great prizes each day they ride their bicycle to work, school, or wherever they may want to go.

So start the biking season off right with the 4th Annual Spring Spin Event in Redding. Here are the details from Healthy Shasta:

Join us for the 4th Annual Spring Spin Event! Located at Caldwell Junior Bike Park on Friday, April 19th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A FREE event open to the public! The kick-off event for Shasta Bike Month!

With Fun Events Like:
– A Live Band
– Corn Hole tournament
– Beer & Food Trucks
– And much More!!!

Local Organization Booths: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Free Bike Valet: 4:00pm-8:00pm
Corn Hole Tournament: 5:00pm
($50 Gift Card to Final Draft Brewing Company for tournament winner.)
Junior Bike Park Skills Demo: 6:00pm

Shasta Bike Challenge team captain packet pickup will also be at this event.
