SpaceX Rocket Lights Up the Northern California Sky

Elon Musk’s company SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket into the evening sky on Sunday, putting on a show in the sky for residents across California. While the launch was done at the Vandenberg Air Force Base, just north of Santa Barbara, Northern California residents were still able to catch a glimpse of the rocket as well.




While some people took to social media claiming they saw a UFO, others were quick to inform them of the scheduled launch, which delivered an Argentine satellite into orbit before returning to its launch site and landing safely, all within an 8-minute span.
