Mt. Shasta is known as an outdoor mecca for many. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, trails, rivers and waterfalls, the small town was recently named the first Pacific Crest Trail “Trail Town” and is developing a whole new series of hiking and mountain biking trails in the area.
And now, the beautiful town is set to receive a new resort for outdoor enthusiasts.
LOGE Camps has tapped Mt. Shasta to open its new resort and is booking space now with a grand opening day of Memorial Day weekend (5/24/19). You can book space in the resort here.
Mt. Shasta’s LOGE will feature a hotel, hostel and covered campsites. The resort will have a coffee shop called the Finlandia Cafe onsite and will offer equipment rentals and outdoor adventure guides for guests.
Loge Camps began in 2017 with three resorts in the state of Washington. Now, after raising an additional $4.5 million in funding, company is opening four new locations, including one in the town of Mount Shasta.
The new Loge Camp will be located near downtown Mt. Shasta in the old Finlandia Motel and will include a hot tub, sauna, and picnic area. A little over a year old, the company has been making waves in the outdoor hospitality space, with support and investments from the best in the industry.
“Few other companies in the outdoor industry have obtained the degree of partnership, industry support, and advanced guidance in such a short amount of time as we have,” Johannes Ariens, co-founder and CEO of LOGE Camps, said in a statement. “Our rapid growth is a clear indication of the desire for our product and the clear lack of supply that currently exists. There is huge potential for further growth across the U.S., and our approach is to grow thoughtfully in markets where our guests are traveling to the most.”
Loge is backed by an outdoors industry who’s who of investors and team members including individuals from Evo, Hydro Flask, Chrome, Keen, Diamond Back, Nuun, OR, Miir, Raleigh, Smith, Moment Lenses, The Seattle Bouldering Project, K2, POC, Booth Creek, and Eddie Bauer.
As stated on their website, Loge’s goal is to “create unique lodging experiences in the center of great outdoor recreation hubs that give you a place to connect with others, try out new gear, and see new places.”
Other new LOGE Camp locations opening this year include Breckenridge and Estes Park, Colorado, and Big Bear, California.
