NorCal Distillery Making Hand Sanitizer and Giving it Out For Free

As every restaurant, bar, craft brewery and distillery deals with the impact of California’s “shelter-in-place” mandate, one distillery is using its capabilities to create hand sanitizer for its customers.

Etna, California’s Denny Bar Company is well-known for making delicious craft spirits for the community. As the Coronavirus outbreak has limited the business to curbside food and drink pickup orders (yes, they are still taking orders), the distillery has also created and bottled 400 ethanol-based hand sanitizers and giving the free 2-ounce bottle to each customer.

We’re honored to join distilleries around the country in producing ethanol-based hand sanitizer to help meet demand in our community! ✨🙌🏼 — We are in the process of filling 400 (2 oz.) bottles now — and the community is invited to pick up a FREE bottle of hand sanitizer here at the distillery during regular business hours. Limit one per customer (two per household), while supplies last. — We are also adding a bottle of hand sanitizer to all curbside & to-go orders! • • #dennybarcompany #handsanitizer #sanitizer #distillery #craftetna #downtownetna #visitscottvalley #etnaca #etnacalifornia #scottvalley #seesiskiyou #siskiyou #discoversiskiyou #discoveretna #dennybar #denybarco #visitcalifornia #distiller #covid_19 #caronavirus #covid #craftdistilling #washhands #washyourhands #cleanhands #cleanhandssavelives #sanitizers #distillerysanitizer #clean #community

The trend of distilleries creating their own hand sanitizer is growing in the United States as different communities battle the ongoing spread of the Coronvirus. While nothing beats good ole fashioned soap and water, the hand sanitizer is a helpful tool to stay clean while on the go.
