MONSTER 30-Pound Ling Cod Caught Off the Humboldt Coast

Toad. Football. Lunker. There are a lot of fun words for fishermen to use to describe a big fish. For a beast like this, we’re going to have to go with MONSTER.

The crew over at Sea Hawk Sportfishing landed a 30-pound ling cod off the Humboldt coast in Shelter Cove recently, proving that fishing off the Northern California coast can be one of the most unique experiences in the region. Here’s a photo of the impressive fish:
