A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded off the NorCal coast near Petrolia on Sunday at 5:26 am, approximately 36 miles southwest of Ferndale:

The area has seen its share of geological activity in recent months, including two in 24 hours in June. With the recent dangerous earthquakes in SoCal, it’s only commonsense to prepare for such an event in NorCal.
