There has been a ton of geological activity in California lately. Following the two massive earthquakes in Southern California this week (I felt the second in Sacramento), Northern California is feeling our share of shaking as well.

A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded off the NorCal coast near Petrolia on Sunday at 5:26 am, approximately 36 miles southwest of Ferndale:

The area has seen its share of geological activity in recent months, including two in 24 hours in June. With the recent dangerous earthquakes in SoCal, it’s only commonsense to prepare for such an event in NorCal.
