‘Mafia-Style’ Botanist Returns to NorCal to Hilariously Explore the Humboldt Redwoods
The funniest botanist around has returned to Northern California to explore the different plant life you can find in the Humboldt redwoods.
Crime Pays But Botany Doesn’t is a popular video series of botanist Joey Santore, who performs all of his educational videos in a thick mafia-style accent. It’s a hilarious look at nature and this particular video is a great exploration of Humboldt botany.
“Today, I’m coming to you from the old-growth redwood forest about 50 minutes north of the town of Arcata in coastal Northern California,†begins Santore in the YouTube video. “Now, Arcata is known for being the birthplace of a cultural phenomenon known as the hippie tweaker.â€
