Footage of “Historic” Valentine Avalanche on Mt. Shasta is Breathtaking
In the middle of February, a giant avalanche slammed Mount Shasta, which has been come to be known as the Valentine Avalanche. Although it wasn’t seen or heard, a 30-foot wall of debris sitting around 7,200 feet on the mountain tells a story of a historic avalanche.
After the Mount Shasta Avalanche Center deemed it safe to visit the site to see the wall of debris, photographers and videographers alike have been showing the shear size of the D4 avalanche that ran several miles and nearly 4,000 vertical feet.

In a drone video posted to YouTube by Elliott Benda, you can see just how large the avalanche was:
A truly marvelous view of the power of nature. Luckily for everyone, no one was on the mountain when this dangerous slide occurred.
Video no longer available 🙁
Did the video get bought? Or just nada.
