With New Snow, Mt. Shasta Ski Park Announces Opening Day

It’s been a pleasant surprise for skiers and snowboarders to witness the onslaught of snow falling in the Northern California mountains this past week. And with more snowfall forecast for the next two weeks, Mt. Shasta Ski Park has announced its opening day, weather permitting.

The ski park beloved by locals is preparing to open its lifts on December 13th, hoping that the weather stays firm and brings a solid snowpack to the slopes. Although the ski park endured some tough years during the drought, this winter is looking much like last years – loaded with snowpack.

Most Tahoe ski resorts have already opened with the new snowfall this week, and it looks like Mt. Shasta Ski Park will finish the job in seeing that all Northern California mountains are open for the season.

It’s time to shred some pow, my friends. Buckle up.

P.S. The park is currently hosting a Cyber Monday deal on all passes! Check it out:
