We have been following daredevil Nick Coulter and his cliff-jumping crew for years now. We had him on the Talking NorCal Podcast to discuss his life as a professional cliff jumper We documented the time he jumped off of Burney Falls. He also filmed and produced Flow State, a documentary giving a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of professional cliff jumpers in Northern California.
Now, he’s released a recent video (above) showing some of the best cliff jumpers in Northern California take on the popular cliffs of the Emerald Pools near Nevada City. The video features some of the best old and young jumpers in the region, showing the progression and style of the sport over the past decade.
Here’s how Coulter described his newest video on YouTube:
“A wise man once said.. “Damn these kids and their lack of traumatic experiences.” Allow me to introduce you to the new generation. These talented young guns show the OG’s some new tricks at one of our favorite local swimming holes. It’s truly amazing how far cliff jumping has come.“
