Snowstorm Blankets Northern California Mountains with More on the Way

As the summer season winds down in Northern California, it seems like we may just skip the fall season entirely.

A storm hit the NorCal mountains this weekend, blanketing the landscape with snow and causing some issues for some who made plans in the great outdoors. The snow was mostly seen in Lassen Volcanic National Park, Tahoe and Mammoth.

On top of the snow in the mountains, an insane tornado was spotted just outside of Davis:

As the air cleared on Sunday morning, some thought that the storm had ended, but boy they were wrong. The precipitation is forecast to continue through Sunday night and into Monday, dropping up to a foot more of snow as the National Weather Service’s Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 pm on Monday:
