Sledding at Snowman’s Hill in Mt. Shasta

Right off Highway 89 between Mt. Shasta and McCloud sits a historic hill known to be one of the best sledding destinations in Northern California. Snowman’s Hill is a popular place for NorCal locals to engage in winter’s most popular activity and people have been coming here for the better part of a century.

Although you might see a hundred people on this hill on a sunny day, we had the entire place to ourselves. Let’s go sledding!
