NorCal Adventurer Featured on ‘American Ninja Warrior’ to Raise Awareness for Camp Fire

You may know Cheyenne Arrington from her adventurous exploits around Northern California. Her Instagram and YouTube pages show her passiopn for adventure, including cliffjumping on some of NorCal’s most pristine outdoor locations.

Cheyenne and her family lost their Paradise home in the Camp Fire and now she is representing ‘Paradise Strong’ on the national stage by competing on the popular show American Ninja Warrior.

With her submission video shining light on the tragic Camp Fire, as well as featuring various NorCal outdoor destinations, she was chosen to compete on the ANW obstacle course. Here is her submission video:

After being chosen to compete in the show, she traveled to Los Angeles to take on the difficult obstacle course. See her attempt at the course (flip through the videos to watch the whole thing):

HERE IT IS! MY FULL RUN! I’ve tried very hard to upload this to YouTube, but the copyright is strong with ANW 😭 I am so honored to have represented my small town, and tried my best on this course! Now that I know what to expect, I hope I can try the course again next year! There are a lot of things you don’t see when you watch the show. Like the fact that it was raining, windy, and very cold in LA. They had fans between stations to dry your shoes, and the filming went from 7pm – 7am. I got in line at 9pm and competed at 4:45 in the morning! As you all well know, I am very much not a night person 😂 this was actually my very first all nighter in my life 😳 but the entire experience was so surreal, and I am so blessed to have had this to look forward to after everything that happened. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me, especially @sendyskindycindy @chasegreystoke @stetcyna @toevs @croulter @brggsy @markymark.flyfree @itsraqcity who all came out to LA 😄 I made incredible friends along the way, and met really cool Ninjas like @burkinator500 @colleenbarney @deadlyninjawarrior @ninjagodfather thank you so much to everyone for all you have done for myself and Paradise. I love you all!! #paradisestrong #buttestrong #paradise #anw #anw11 #ninjawarrior #americanninjawarrior #ninjawarriortraining #Losangeles #universalstudios

So cool to watch a NorCal adventurer representing Paradise with such enthusiasm! Although she didn’t win the race, she was the perfect person to show the resilience of the Paradise Strong community on the national stage.
