California State Parks Closes Indoor Areas, With Outdoor Areas Remaining Open

It’s been a whirlwind of news in Northern California since the cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) have grown in the state. Ski resorts have closed, entire school districts have closed and bars and wineries have been ordered to close. But there are still opportunities to avoid the crowds and head outside.

California State Parks announced it will close all of its indoor services and exhibits this week, but will keep the outdoor areas open to the public. The announcement gives NorCal residents a little grasp of hope after many have been stuck inside in self quarantine for days.

This is great news, considering the only option for some semblance of activity is going into the great outdoors. And if you look at the map below, NorCal is loaded with great state parks.
