An Empty Yosemite Looks Like a Winter Wonderland with a Fresh Coat of Snow

The Coronavirus outbreak has closed the gates of Yosemite National Park for the foreseeable future. It’s a sobering outlook for an area that’s about to go through a vibrant spring transition, with green fields and gushing waterfalls. And although it’s currently void of any visitors, the park looks absolutely stunning with a fresh coast of snow.

Park rangers continue to perform their normal duties in one of the country’s most popular national parks and have been able to capture some of the beautiful isolation. Here are some of the photos/videos that park rangers have shared from the empty park:

While we appreciate the park rangers still working hard in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak, we’re more than a little jealous. Can you imagine having the beautiful 750,000 acre park all to yourself?
